Sanford Lipton

CEO
Sanford Lipton is the CEO and the third generation of Lipton Energy. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 1962, he spent a year in the Coast Guard, then joined Lipton Energy in 1963. He was initially responsible for running the company’s tire and auto repair business, then went on to run the gas stations. In the early 1980s, Sanford was responsible for starting LiptonMart Convenience Stores. He now assists his son Michael in overseeing all entities of the company, and is a member of The National Association of Convenience Stores, The New England Fuel Institute, and The International Oil Marketers Association.


Michael Lipton

President
Michael Lipton is President and the fourth generation of Lipton Energy. After graduating from Boston University in 1996, he worked at Squaw Valley Ski Corp in California, then joined Lipton Energy in 1998. He oversees daily operations for all entities including the oil and propane business, and the chain of LiptonMart Convenience Stores. Michael is a member of the National Association of Convenience Stores, The International Oil Marketers Association, and The New England Fuel Institute, and has served on the board of directors for Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., as well as The Country Club of Pittsfield. He also heads the company’s annual charitable campaigns for The United Way, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Hillcrest Educational Centers. Michael lives in Pittsfield with his wife, Christine, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Emery.

Cameron Winter

Vice President of Operations
Cameron Winter is the vice president of operations for Lipton Energy. Cameron joined our team in 2020 and comes with 20 years’ experience in the energy field. He started in the industry as a delivery driver, advanced to service technician and then management, and has a variety of credentials that support our business. Overseeing daily operations from the oil, propane, and service departments, Cameron focuses on customer relations and growth in the energy division for Lipton Energy. Cameron is a volunteer ski patrol member and assists with other local functions supporting the surrounding communities. He lives in Adams, Massachusetts with his wife, Kim, and children, Payton and Nolan.


Aaron Clark

IT Manager
Aaron Clark is the IT (Information Technology) Manager for Lipton Inc. Aaron started in the petroleum industry at Agway Energy Products in August of 1988 as a station attendant. He continued to work at Agway Energy Products while he went to college earning his AAS Degree in Criminal Justice from Broome Community College in 1994. Aaron completed the Manager Training Program from Agway Energy Products and took over as the Plant Manager for Agway Energy Products in Lee, MA in November 1994. In March 1997, Aaron joined Lipton Energy as the Service Advisor/Energy Consultant after Lipton Energy purchased the Lee branch of Agway Energy Products. In 2009, Aaron moved into his current position as IT Manager, overseeing the technology at the LiptonMart Convenience Stores and main office. Aaron is a member of the Oil & Energy Service Professionals Association (OESP), the Technical Committee of NFPA 31, and Nation Oil Burner Code. He is a past President and past Board Member of Berkshire Community Action Council, and is active in the Boy Scouts of America in various leadership positions. Aaron lives in Pittsfield with his wife, Brenda, and their son, David.
